Starwood Hotels commissioned Guts & Glory to create a large mural for the lobby of their new Washington DC hotel. The mural needed to contain all of the names of the countries along Embassy Row. We spent weeks neurotically weaving sixty plus countries together with an abstracted map of Washington DC. Meticulously knitting typography with cartography is right up our detail-obsessed alley!
